LL.B. (Hons.), Nottingham
Advocate & Solicitor, Singapore

Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Matrimonial Law
Criminal Law

Adrienne graduated from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom, with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2016. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2019.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

Adrienne is presently an associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice and assists in family, criminal and civil law matters.

Prior to joining TIC, she primarily practised Criminal and Family Litigation. She has assisted in and subsequently had conduct of trials, and PG Mentions, representing clients facing various offences under a variety of acts: the Penal Code, the Women’s Charter, Misuse of Drugs Act, Common Gaming Houses Act, Moneylenders Act, Employment Act, etc.

Particularly, her invaluable trial experience enables her to empathize more deeply with clients who come to her in similar situations, and also advise them better and strategically on what to expect in Court. She has also successfully assisted in resisting a Summons for Variation in the Family Courts, and represented clients in contested divorces and mediations (to conclusion).

While not one to back down when presented with an acrimonious matter, Adrienne’s importance placed on negotiating settlements out of court (in both criminal and family matters) cannot be understated. She believes in exploring every avenue possible in pursuit of advancing her clients’ interest. Ultimately, her realistic approach ensures that her clients’ personal expectations are managed, whilst ensuring their legal interests remain protected and well represented.

Qualifications & Training

Upon graduating from the University of Nottingham in 2016, Adrienne had a short stint setting up and managing a SAC-Accredited ISO certification and auditing organization, whilst simultaneously preparing for the Bar exams. This afforded her the rare opportunity to better understand the corporate world and enhance her commercial sensibilities. This has often allowed her to be in a better position to understand where her clients’ concerns are rooted, from a practical and legal aspect.

In 2018, she returned to her legal training, with a focus in General Litigation and Family Law, a passion since university. She honed her skills in these areas during her intensive training at a boutique family law firm, as well as an International Law Firm thereafter. During this time, her exposure to contested high-value matrimonial matters, as well as complex matters across jurisdictions and various Courts have helped her develop fresh perspectives in applying her skills and knowledge.

Adrienne has always found herself driven towards the practice of Community Law, which remains her passion, as it allows her to utilize her skills and knowledge to add value to another person’s life in some meaningful way. At the end of the day, Adrienne relishes her exposure to a wide variety of matters at TIC, which includes the practice of Community Law.
