Making A Will or
A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)
Legal expertise can go hand-in-hand with financial planning
Partner Kelvin Ong was invited by one of the AIA agencies, DRF, to give a talk on the importance of making a lasting power of attorney and / or a will. He explained the implications, the mechanics and the differences between these two instruments.
The participating insurance agents were also introduced to TIC’s services on deputyship, probate and letters of administration.
Kelvin’s presentation was well-received with detailed queries based on the agents’ individual experiences. The subsequent discussion also delved into the various postulated scenarios and allowed Kelvin to demonstrate how legal expertise can go hand-in-hand with financial planning.
