Mr Maiyaz has 15 years of experience in legal practice, he has held increasingly senior positions through the course of his legal career while practicing with a series of five law firms prior to joining Tito Isaac & Co LLP in 2026 as a partner of the firm. ​

Currently heads the firm’s Banking Practice and advises bank clients on litigation, insolvency, and asset recovery matters.

Advised on and drafted myriad contracts and other associated documents including, S&P, sale of shares/assets, franchise, licensing, Company Constitution, Joint Ventures, tenancy, M&A, and employment agreements for many prominent and well-established organisations. Handled various general corporate and/or corporate secretarial matters including the incorporation of companies, drafting of resolutions.
 
Cryptocurrency and Digital Assets
Advised on and drafted legal opinions for entities wishing to list their tokens on exchanges as well other cryptocurrency and/or digital assets matters. Prepared and conducted a variety of civil litigation and/or dispute resolution matters including disputes in relation to cryptocurrency and/or digital assets matters. 
 
Arbitration
Represented clients in various international arbitration matters. 
 
Civil Litigation
Conducted extensive and relevant legal research and/or drafted cause papers for various matters.

Prepared and conducted a variety of criminal law proceedings and/or matters.
