Hwa Chong International School – Law Conference

Lawyers Tito Isaac and Lim Chu Yech were guest speakers at the HCIS Law Conference on 12 August 2023. 
 
The event was organized by a group of students from Hwa Chong International School who are enthusiastic about pursuing careers in the legal profession. Students from other schools were also invited to participate in the event.
 
After the keynote address and a dialogue with Mr Isaac and Ms Lim, participants also took part in a moot court. This gave them the opportunity to meet practicing lawyers and gain an understanding of legal practice.
 
"It was heart-warming, and indeed my pleasure, to meet and speak with some potential lawyers. This gives those of us in the legal fraternity more than just hope for a strong, sensible and independent Bar – which will continue its finest traditions," observed an optimistic Mr Isaac, who is Managing Partner at Tito Isaac & Co LLP, after the event.
 
"I wish to thank the organisers for having Chu Yech and myself at the HCIS Law Conference," said a supportive Mr Isaac.
 
He went on to express his wish for the future, "We sincerely hope the HCIS Law Conference becomes an annual tradition in your school. That it helps some of your best and brightest discover their passion for the law. And that one day, these young minds will reach their full potential and stand among the pillars of Singapore's legal fraternity."
